Each ribbon had the name of a child who battled cancer.

"The Town of Huntington helped spread awareness about pediatric cancer on Friday.

Trees were decorated with gold ribbons - each one bearing the name of a child who had cancer.

Organizers hope that seeing the tree will open a dialogue about childhood cancer."
